Sven Bauer
born 1973, lives in the Rhine-Main area and works as an independent graphic designer, musician and multimedia producer. He completed his graduate degree in media design at the Mainz University of Applied Sciences in 2002. One of the focal points of his work is his preoccupation with generative systems. His works in this domain include LIQUID, an audio-design software program, and Fünf Räume (five rooms), an experimental computer application that decrypts a graphic design system as a network of individual generative processes. Fünf Räume was developed and implemented within the scope of a research year at the Institute for Media Design of the Mainz University of Applied Sciences.
