b 1933 in New York City, died 1996; studies of Art History at the New School for Social Research and the Columbia University in New York; he begins his artistic careers as a painter, then working with light objects and industrially pre-fabricated neon tubes which he forms to site-specific installations in the context of Minimal Art.
