 Pierre Huyghe

*1962 in Paris; lives in Paris.
Pierre Huyghe visited the École supérieure des arts graphiques from 1981 to 1982, and the École nationale supérieure des arts décoratifs from 1982 to 1984, both in Paris. Since 1988 he has worked with various media including film photography, and installation. He often uses film as departure for investigating a contemporary society saturated with representation. He recently represented France at the Venice Biennial (2001).
