 Richard Wagner

born in Leipzig 1813 – died 1883 in Venice (I). Composer of operas in the tradition of romantic music. His most famous operas «Lohengrin,» «Rheingold,» «Die Walküre» or «Götterdämmerung» influenced immensely the staging of operas. He founded the Bayreuther Festspielhaus and the festival dedicated exclusively to his music.
