Jeffrey Huang
Associate Professor of Architecture at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design, in the area of digital media and information technology. Huang received his DiplArch from the ETH Zurich and his master's (MDesS) and doctoral (DDes) degrees from the GSD. Huang's research on the internet and architecture explores the vision of bringing the physical and virtual environments together. He investigates the possibility of combining physical architecture and information structures to support integrated offline and online processes for business and everyday social activities, such as learning, working, shopping, playing and healing. His other research interests include the emerging e-education universe, and the impact of Internet-based technologies and business models on the building industry.

Muriel Waldvogel
Visual designer and architect, who is Visiting Lecturer on Visual and Environmental Studies. She received her BA from Barnard College, and her master’s in architecture and PhD in visual design from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology, ETH Zurich (CH). She is an architect and a specialist on the senses of perception as they relate to the digital realm. Her work explores the nature of multi-sensory experiencing and expression, with a particular focus on the feelings, emotions, and thoughts evoked by the sense of touch that are hidden in images and spaces.
