The New Television Workshop at WGBH in Boston was one of the earliest and most influential supporters of experimental TV productions especially in the early 1970s. The broadcast «The Medium Is the Medium» from 1969 was one of the earliest video art shows on television and pioneered experimental research through its Television Workshop.
