Shown as part of Group ZERO’s ‘Lichtraum’ (‘Light Room’) at the 'documenta III', Kassel, the 175-cm disk is densely studded by nails. It rotates at a low height above the floor, with the illumination from the side producing changing shadow structures on the white surface.
