 Ant Farm
«Media Burn»

In 1975 Ant Farm sent a 1959 Cadillac through a wall of flaming TV sets in «Media Burn», a deconstruction/demolition of the media spectacle par excellence. Using the car once again as a cultural icon, transformed into a type of earth-bound spaceship, «Media Burn» critiqued American ideals of heroics and technological superiority, and offered an affront to the television media who were invited to cover the event.
