«Prolegomena»

The «Prolegomena» manifesto describes connections between scientific studies of life, artificial life, and the performing arts. The statements of Bec consider the following topics: * strategies of artificial life which address the notion of the «master,» * concepts of life resulting from artificial life research, * zoological systems that embed themselves in ‹natural› life and claim their spot in the ‹world of the psyche,› * artificial life the result of manipulations, modeling – the creation of life as a way to understand the living, and an aesthetic of autonomy.
