Herbert Wentscher has for years now been collecting cultural and historical 'proof' and visual documents from art history 'confirming' that a whole variety of cultures had knowledge about media apparatus for broadcasting and receiving at their disposal. As well as the minimally modified prints he also produced a satirical documentation in 1986 in the dry style of schools and educational television, in which presenter Herbert Wentscher talks about these historical documents from the Egyptians to the 19th century in the light of the screen and the electronic media.
