b 1941 in Hanover; artist, media theorist and media designer; free-lance photographic designer for various newspapers and magazines and also advertising agencies until the 80s; taught at the Hochschule für Bildende Kunst, Braunschweig, and the University and Fachhochschule in Hamburg; founded Scrollheim/ KunstForschung in 1991; lives and works in Münden.
