b 1961 in Kiel; 1981-82 studied philosophy at the University of Tübingen; 1983-84 studied at the Freie Kunstschule, Hamburg; 1985-86 studied computer science at the University of Hamburg; works in the field of interactive multimedia installations; 1984-85 visiting lecturer at the Merzakademie, Stuttgart; lives and works in Hamburg.
