'The Spatial Apparatus' raises questions as to the discrepancy between our own perceptions of our surrounding reality and those registered and transmitted by machines. 'The device measures out the space in which it is located with its extendible, rotating arm. Within two to three hours an outline plan of the space appears on the monitor. This plan can be printed to a size of up to 1:1 (in relation to the measured space)'. (Frank Fietzek)
