b 1957 in Zurich (CH); 1982 began his career as an artist; lives and works in Cologne.

Philip Pocock
b 1954 in Ottawa (CDN); 1979 B.A.hons in film- and TV-production at the New York University Film School; worked as a documentary photographer; 1982–90 taught photographie at the International Center of Photography; 1988 co-founder of the Journal of Contemporary Art; 1991 moved to Cologne (D); since 1994 professor at the Hochschule für Gestaltung, Technik und Wirtschaft, Fachhochschule Pforzheim; lives in Karlsruhe (D).
