 Christina Kubisch

b 1948 in Bremen; sound artist. Studied Painting, Music, and Electronics; in the 1970s, cooperation with Fabrizio Plessi, then her own artistic work in the area of sound installations; since 1994, Professor for Sculpture and Audio-Visual Art at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste (College of Visual Arts) Saar, Saarbrücken; since 1997, a member of the Akademie der Künste (Academy of Arts), Berlin; lives and works in Berlin.
