«In Transit»

«In Transit» by Michael Pinsky explores the perception of urban time and space by means of time-based maps on public transportation. In transit shows maps, which are created by Michael Pinsky’s own journeys through the city. The maps are constructed to show points in time rather than space. Michael Pinsky’s traveling with public transport places new layers on the city public transport maps where the stations or stops are represented as nodes where the different layers of the map coincide.
