«Cavaliers»
The recording of 'Cavaliers' including a video clip stands in relationship to Tödliche Doris' ensemble of works 'Natural Disasters'. The acoustic distortion of a concert by means of interference such as a burning microphone here becomes the 'natural' antipode of the artificial nature of a Baroque garden. The audio material of the live concert provides the basis for later lip-synched performances comparable to the performance art 'Über-Mutti' (Super-Mom).
