«Morning Glory»

Vostell staged the action 'Morning Glory' in the 3rd Rail Gallery while his ‘Television Décollage' show was also running in New York in the Smolin Gallery. The score reads: 'Read New York Times. Put perfume on the pages. Put perfumated page in the blender with some black pepper. Blend all together with water until the newspaper disappears. Put the whole mixture on a beautiful plant. Repeat this event until the entire copy of the New York Times is blended in the last mixture. Put some flower seed Morning Glory. Then put sneeze powder in the air so that audience has to leave quickly, sneezing.'
