«The Perfect Crime»

In this series, Tabrizian refers at times directly, at others indirectly to cinematographic aesthetics, as for example when quoting the visual language and narrative elements of films by Takeshi Kitano or Quentin Tarantino. But rather than shift these into her photographic compositions in the form of stills, she analyzes filmic portrayals of violence that she picks up and transforms in perfectly arranged photographs.
